Why an agenda?

There are a lot of street dance events happening in Belgium, but it is not always easy to know where or when they are happening.

For a long time, Facebook kind of solved this. Events were gathered in one place. You could see what was coming up, say you were going, and organisers had a better idea of who to expect.

But many people do not really use Facebook like that anymore. Most communication moved to Instagram. That works well for quick visibility, but not for structure. You see an event pass by in a story or a post, and then it disappears again. There is no clear agenda.

DanceVents tries to bring that overview back.

It is a shared agenda for street dance events in Belgium. You can search by city, style, event type, and date, so it becomes easier to find what is relevant to you.

It is also useful for organisers. By seeing what is already planned, they can avoid event clashes and spread events better across the calendar.

The goal is simple: to give dancers and organisers in Belgium a clearer view of what is happening, and to make it easier for people, cities, styles, and street dance scenes to connect.
